The Game Awards is less than a week away, which means we'll be seeing some new details about games in the coming days, but before then, there are rumors that this year's ceremony will have some particularly big announcements.

VGC reporter Andy Robinson recently expressed the same sentiment on Twitter, saying he was "looking forward to a very big Game Awards next week". When asked if he was hinting at a possible big announcement or just speculating, Robinson wrote: "Definitely not speculation."

Interestingly, Tom Warren of The Verge also seemed to confirm the above statement. Warren cited Robinson's original tweet about this year's Game Awards being packed, saying that he had similar expectations.

So far, we still know very little about what this year's Game Awards, which takes place on December 12, will bring, but the good news is that it will be less than a week away.
