Soulframe's latest trailer shows off a new lore of Orengall, where you can make a pact with wolves.

The trailer debuted at the end of the Soulframe developer livestream this week, which was held to introduce its enhanced pre-alpha testing phase - called "Preludes" - that will eventually open the Soulframe game to the public. In the trailer, the protagonist summons wolves to ride, fight alongside them, and even use their powers to aid in his exploration and combat.

The developer livestream showed off the latest updates for Soulframe, such as the Silent Rose Cave, which will serve as the game's first social hub area for players, where they can talk to non-player characters, take on side quests, and meet other people, as well as the aforementioned new lore of Orengar, and new environmental challenges and dangers that will appear when exploring the dungeon.

“Since we let players get their hands on Soulframe in pre-alpha earlier this year, everything about the game has been on a path to be the best it can be,” said Jeff Crooks, Creative Director of Soulframe, in a press release. “We’ve always had a grand vision for Soulframe, but feedback from the community has always been our guiding star. Community feedback has helped us develop a targeted roadmap around nearly every aspect of the game during this pre-alpha period, guiding us on what changes to make and where to focus as we prepare the game for the public release. We’ve heard feedback about the lack of combat and social features, which is why as we add new features like social hubs, you’ll see a focus on these elements.”
